KEY JOB PURPOSE


The primary purpose is to ensure the efficient, safe and reoiable operation of electrical systems and equipment within the production facility. This role is essential for maintaining continous production processes, maximizing equipment uptime and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  1. Equipment Uptime and Reliability, 95% of uptime for critical electrical equipment(e.g.,bottling lines)
  2. Energy Efficiency, Reduction in energy consumption per unit of production, Implementation of energy-saving initiatives resuting in meausrable reductions in electricity usage.
  3. Safety Compliance, Number of electrical safety incidents or near misses, Compliance with safety refulations and standards.
  4. Maintanance Effectiveness, 95% of scheduled preventive maintanance tasks completed on time, Reduction in unplanned downtime due to electrical failures following the implementation of preventive maintanance programs.
  5. Project Management, On-time and on-budget completion of electrical engineering projects, Achievement of project objectives and milestones such as equipmnet upgrades or facility expansions without comprimising safety or quality.
  6. Root Cause Analysis and Problem Resolution, Timelines and effectivenss of root cause analysis investigations for electrical failures, Reduction in recurrence of electrical issues following the implementation of corrective actions identified through root cause analysis.
  7. Documentation Accuracy, Accuracy and completeness of documentation related to electrical systems, maintanance activities and safety records, Timelienss and accuracy of reporting on key performance indicators, maintanance schedules and compliance status.
  8. Training and Development, Competency levels of maintanance personnel and operators in electrical safety and troubleshooting, Effectivenss of training programs and initiatives in improving skills and knowledge within the electrical engineering team.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the beverage industry of similar manufacturing environment
  • Proficieny in CAD software for electrical design and drafting(e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
